Chinese cameras maker, BenQ has just announce a plans to release its newest Full HD camcorder with the name of BenQ S21 model. This camcorder is capable to record Full HD 1080p video (1920 x 1080) and a 16MP (albeit interpolated) still images.

The BenQ S21 Full HD Touchscreen Camcorder comes with an infrared night vision and a motion detection features packs a 3-inch display with touchscreen capability make it easy to use, comes with dual power source include lithium-ion battery and ordinary AA batteries, and you don’t worry about first SD card is full because it can automatically use another SD card that means your record must go on.

The BenQ has announce its will be available in early next month with no words on pricing at this time.

my daughters laptop has been really playing up lately, she got it at christmas and has managed to fill it up so much that its so slow and basically unusable.

i have deleted everything off it that i can possibly can but it still stops responding and ends up crashing.

i know its a bit drastic to do but i really could do with some advice to make sure i do it right as i don't want to mess it up completely.

Answer:Safe Mode Bootup – XP, Vista, Win7

Try this, its easy and will not harm anything

Slowly tap the F8 key while the computer is powering up

Just after the screen goes blank, the F8 key will point the computer to a menu where safe mode can be selected.

Note if you mistakenly tap F8 key again, it will continue through to normal boot, so power down and try again.

Scroll and select Last known good configuration.

This is stronger than doing a system restore in normal mode.

Wait till the boot has finished before clicking anything.

(System restore is the first line of restoration.

The second line is last known good configuration.

The third line is system restore in safe mode.

The fourth line is repair from your disk recovery console.

The fifth line is a delete partition with clean install).
Answer:Restore = Go back to a specific date/time, undo changes.

Re-install = A new operating system, all data erased.

Recover = Return to 'Factory Default Settings' (as new/out of the box).

I think you mean Recovery. System Restore only allows you to go back up to 60 days.

On start up (before Windows loads) tap F9 when the Asus logo appears, to access the recovery partition. Follow on screen instructions.

Answer:Use the system restore DVD provided , boot up the laptop with selecting DVD boot (check user manual how to boot to DVD, usually F10 pressed during boot start process , but can be different as per model).

Once you boot from DVD , choose system restore or full install.

Make sure you have anti virus installed once completing the windows install.

PS: Virus are the main cause of such problems

The platform for some of media’s most provacative editorials and photos, VICE Magazine takes their show to Los Angeles with their 2010 photos how. 20 different photographers will be showcasing their work with curation from Jonnie Craig. The VICE 2010 Los Angeles Photo Show will open on August 14th, between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm at the Scion Space in Culver City. The show will run until September 4th.

It’s fine to submit a photo you took previous to the current week, but we are hoping that the contest will inspire you to go out and shoot something fantastic this week to share with Art&Seek users. If the picture you take involves a facet of the arts, even better. The contest week will run from Monday to Sunday, and the Art&Seek staff will pick a winner on Monday afternoon. Tell us more about your photo:

Process: Salvation’s Evil Twin began as a digital photo I captured of a black bird temporarily resting on a power line - the idea expanded outrageously from there. I scanned-in and used a few floral fabrics and some of my recent sketches, adding expressive color as I moved through the creative process.

Content: The black bird stares intently at the “twin” doll heads to the right, paying no attention to the people trapped under the staircase by the menacing presence in the blue box above. Indeed, the bird plays a part in the “salvation,” but I’ll leave that for you the viewer to think about.

Thoughts: For those creatives out there working full-time corporate jobs, it’s very important to experiment and lose yourself in wildly creative work from time to time. I have made a habit of creating one of these experimental ideas each week, printing them on canvas and showing them around the United States.

Photos: Twitter (l), bookingMBTA Transit Police report the arrest of a Dorchester man on charges he fondled himself on a crowded Red Line train during the Wednesday afternoon rush hour – based on a photo and description from a tweeting commuter.

Nay, a rider on the train, spotted the man and posted his photo as the train was between MGH/Charles and Park Street:

“I am feeling strong. I’ve experienced a lot in my life, and my mom has given me a lot of faith. This too shall pass.”

You just had your birthday. What are you hoping for from the upcoming year?

“To focus on myself and my work and to move all press on me to focus on the work I do. Also, I’d like to do more work in India and travel to Malawi.”

What is your advice to others about how to cope with adversity?

“Stay true to yourself always. At the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and be content with the choices you’ve made, and will make, in your life. Go with your gut!”
